The Records & The Ruse is a live documentary theatre performance about previously hidden government actions that targeted the Baltimore Chapter of the Black Panther Party. The play is rooted in historical evidence, new groundbreaking freedom of information journalism, and original documentary and cinematic materials adapted for live performance. This residency presentation of The Records & The Ruse is part of the project's ongoing development, and we invite an engaged audience to share their questions and feedback following the performance.
